Dylan’s shed is here and set, so now we’re ready to begin transforming our sheds into homes.

We wanted to give you an update on what’s been happening on the homestead as we did chores, but it’s cold out, so it turned out to be a sit in the car and chat kinda update. Stay tuned to a video coming really soon on what we did to keep all our animals warm when the weather got worse.

Plans for our sheds to houses are slowly starting to come together and we are so excited!! Then on top of that, Brooke and I each found great deals on a couple of claw foot bathtubs and Dylan found a urinal at a great price. It’s almost like we’re more excited about those things than we are about getting our sheds. 😂🤣

It’s so hard to plan out exactly how to lay out my shed to house. So, to create a visual that will hopefully help me decide, I decided to put my refrigerator in. Not only will it give me a visual, but it will also help me decide if I want to use that one or get a smaller one.

My tiny house is here and I’m so excited to be able to make it into a peaceful living space for my daughter and me. It’s just the beginning… but we’ve got a some big dreams and hope you will follow along on our journey.

We’ve had some BIG plans in the works for months, but we wanted to wait to share the news until we knew for sure they would happen. So now we’re ready to share and proceed with our plans…. but first…. we must expand the sewer.

My divorce is now final and a new chapter in my life is beginning. Due mostly to financial reasons, I decided to not keep our home. We moved in with my mom, so we are still living here on the homestead. So now what?

When life gives you challenges, sometimes you really have to look deep to find the tomatoes in your life. For us, our search has lead us to many tomatoes to be thankful for.

Well, it’s been a while since we’ve made any new videos. There’s been a lot of changes going on in our life recently. It’s been a rough year for us but we are optimistic for the future.

We finally got our new garden fence in and are so excited! We love the way it turned out and our layout will be so much more convenient. Now all we need to do is start planting!
