Working Full Time and Homesteading || A Day In Our Life

It’s been a while since we’ve made a video so we thought it would be fun to do a video on what our life is like now that I’m working full time. It’s been quite an adjustment for all of us, but so far we’ve fallen into a good routine. This is a typical week day. Weekends are a little different because we focus more on projects and maintenance on the homestead.

Hey, just found your blog/youtube channel while looking for a way to control squash bugs. Noticed you are in my area which I love. I need the inspiration from someone local (i.e. what works in California gardens doesn’t work in Kansas). I love reading about another Kansas homesteader…good for you all.

Hey! Sorry it took so long to respond. Welcome, and so glad to have you here. I’m always happy to meet other homesteaders, especially in my area! Hope you were able to get your squash bugs under control.

Really miss seeing content from y’all! I’m sure the ducks are enjoying their pond. They just wait until you’re not around to investigate new things.
Also can’t wait to see how the little black headed boy is doing. He’s a cutie.
Hope y’all get a chance to do an update sometime soon!
